Hi, I’m Taurea, the heart behind Grounded Cowgirl Coffee.
I created Grounded Cowgirl because coffee brings me joy, and I wanted to share that feeling with you.
For as long as I can remember, coffee has been an anchor in my day. Life gets busy. Life gets hard. But that first sip gives me a moment to breathe and feel like everything’s going to be okay. When I skip that moment, my whole day feels a little off.
Maybe you know that feeling, too.
What Grounded Means to Me
Being grounded means taking a pause in the middle of it all. Being grateful for the cup in your hands, the people you love, and the little things that are easy to rush past.
Horses give me that same feeling. They bring me into the present and remind me to pay attention to what’s right in front of me. Grounded Cowgirl grew out of those two parts of my life: my love of coffee and the peace I find around horses.
You don’t need a horse or a pair of boots to feel at home here. Cowgirls, cowboys, and anyone who could use a little pause are welcome.

Our coffee is roasted locally in Yacolt, Washington, and chosen with the hope that you’ll find a favorite worth slowing down for.
